I am a computational linguist with strong interest in learning (by humans and machines).
I received my PhD degree in Computational Lingusitics at the University Groningen. Prior to my PhD, I studied Cognitive Science (MS) and Computer Engineering (BS) in Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. In another life (that run in parallel at times), I worked as System/Network Administrator at RIPE NCC, METU Computer Center and TÜBİTAK.
